  • Cooking Demonstrations – Conducted food identification, storage and cooking demonstrations at both markets.
  • Diverted over 17,000 pounds of green waste away from Pierce County waste stream & into recycling.
  • Click! Network Video on Demand Programming, featuring 18 popular documentaries (e.g. Good Food, Media That Matters) about local and sustainable food systems and agricultural practices.
  • Neighboring businesses reported a record increase in customers during market hours.
  • Circulated 30 newsletters educating citizens about healthy eating, food storage and money saving tips.
  • Received over 26,000 visitors on our TFM website with 90,970 page views.
  • Markets hosted dozens of local nonprofit groups to outreach and educate our shoppers.
  • TFM hosted several community presentations educating Tacoman’s about local food and community health.
  • Market hosted first Best-Fall-Soup fundraiser to assist a farmer in need (raised $1500).
