Entertainment and activities at the Farmers Market makes learning about fresh, local foods really fun! We have developed this page for parents, role models and teachers to help you make a trip to the Farmers Market an educational experience for the children in your lives. We invite you to use the scavenger hunts, coloring sheets and puzzles at the market. The kids will have fun getting their faces painted, eating berries, listening to live kids bands and many other great activities while being exposed to the importance of local farmland. With any luck - this experience will stick with them...Who knows, they may be Governor in a few short years, and enstating laws that preserve local food for generations to come. All because you took them to the Farmers Markets while they were young. Those are fond memories!
